We own a 1935 Tudor Cape Cod and a kitchen remodel was the single major upgrade we had been focused on. As first time remodelers, we approached the contractor selection process with trepidation. We had done a significant amount of due diligence on the kitchen design and had finally got to the point where we were ready to approach contractors. Luckily, a neighbor had worked with INEX and had a very positive experience. We ended up selecting them from a four contractor short-list based on their competitive job pricing, useful design input in our initial meeting, and their assurances that the job could be done to our standards on our schedule. We had two meetings prior to the start of the remodel to clarify expectations and ensure we were all on the same page.
During the course of the job the INEX team was on-time and efficient. Our 10x12 foot kitchen required full demo, dry walling, cabinet installation, plumbing work, major electrical work (done independently), and flooring installation. The INEX team was able to do their piece of the work in about 4 - 5 workdays and they worked conscientiously around the electrical and countertop installation schedules. The minor issues that were identified during the course of the remodel were fully resolved by INEX, and they even absorbed the full cost to resolve one of these issues.
The end result of the remodel is a brand new kitchen that is a light years improvement over the old one. The quality and craftsmanship displayed by INEX are evident in all facets of the kitchen, and their input and communication throughout the course of the planning and the job itself were greatly appreciated. We would highly recommend INEX to anyone considering a kitchen/bathroom remodel.

Choosing Inex Construction to remodel my kitchen was the best decision I made in the remodel process. Everyone knows about horror remodeling stories with unreliable contractors, shoddy craftsmanship, delayed schedules, etc - but not in my case. My project manager, Oswaldo, was fantastic - meticulous with details, flexible with last minute changes, incredibly fast and efficient creating a perfect end product. What was supposed to be a month-long remodel turned into three months due to problems created by other contractors, but Inex and Oswaldo patiently stuck with me and my kitchen to the sweet end. A word of caution: choose the electricians and plumbers very carefully - not all can live up to the standards Inex sets. When, days before my due date with our third child and a few weeks before Christmas, the ceiling between our bathroom and kitchen collapsed, I could have cried. However, with Mr McDonald’s assistance, by the time I was home from the hospital, INEX had replaced the floor, walls, tiles and all the fixtures in our bathroom and fixed our kitchen as well. I have never heard of a bathroom being completely remodeled (when they started you could see our kitchen from our second floor bathroom) in a few days. The crews were sweet, took into consideration our very young children during the demolition, and did an outstanding job. I had met with nearly a half-dozen other contractors, and you guys stood out. For example, INEX was the only company that showed up for the initial meeting with their information in hand. This made checking insurance, license and references easy. On the other hand, it often took as many as a half dozen phone calls, and in one case two meetings just to get that from others. The way I see it, if a person isn't organized for a simple meeting with an expressed purpose, I imagine their attention to more complex matters would be comparable at best. Similarly the job was completed at the agreed upon price, on time and exceeded my expectations.

Well, by last night Oswaldo and his crew completed their work and our kitchen is absolutely beautiful! I stayed up last night until after midnight, just standing in there, looking at it all!! My neighbors just can't get over it. Everything is magnificent. Oswaldo was beyond fabulous. His philosophy of "No problems, only solutions" made the difference between simply completing the contract and really getting the job done. The attention to detail was just amazing - down to matching the 55-year-old baseboard molding style no longer made commercially. Things we hadn't even thought of were done. Oswaldo's punch list was better than our own! Lots of wonderful surprises as well as truly expert execution of every aspect of the job as we had envisioned it. We couldn't be more pleased. More than that, I feel that we found not only a wonderful contractor for our kitchen, but people who really cared about creating something special for and with us that we could use for many years to come. You should just see their beautiful job here in Severn. Everything is excellent. We came home last night from work about 6 PM and my next door neighbor said they had just left! They worked such a long day but with just amazing results. Kitchen floor is installed and gorgeous. Your suggestion of the slate laminate was so right on. Somehow the floor looks bigger and feels so good on barefeet. All the bathroom pieces are in except the medicine cabinet and tile is grouted. Even faucets are in. We just couldn't believe it. The white is so great too. In TWO days.... it is like magic almost.
We are leaving the last two checks on the refrigerator where Said can see them. Not sure when we might see him in person. We are so pleased we are leaving a little cash for the crew itself and it is clearly marked for them.
I don't know the names of the two crew members as they have been so courteous, competent and completely cleaned the work area so that you'd hardly know they've been here except for the stunning work they leave behind. They also arrived both days a half hour early which was fine with us!
Our neighbors are also just amazed. None of them have ever had such service from a contract firm. We thank you all so much. Hardly know how to express our gratitude.

Living in a one bath apartment it was a big decision picking a contractor to remodel my bathroom. I got several quotes from different contractors, none of which was competitive with INEX. Even though I was impressed with Charles McDonald and thought the estimates for cost and timing outstanding I wanted to check as many references as I could. All of the references I checked came back with exceptional reviews of the work and team - and I checked all those listed by INEX. One reference allowed me to come out and inspect their recently remodeled bath which was the deciding point to go with INEX.
The team showed up on the Monday we chose to start work and immediately got off to a great start. Work was started promptly every morning and cleaned up every afternoon. Chuck McDonald and staff are thorough-going professionals who are honest, conscientious, extremely knowledgeable, and gracious. No question or concern was too small. Our project came in under budget (we are seniors and every penny counts) and ahead of time. Too, INEX has a list of recommended subcontractors (electrical, plumbing, carpeting, and the like) who are excellent. Chuck remodeled our kitchen in a practical way, omitting what he considered unnecessary expenditures: leaving us the original cabinets but giving us a very durable new vinyl floor that looks like wood and a superb appliance company reference. INEX has done two projects for us and we are pleased with both. The first job was to upgrade two bathrooms, with significant work in one of them (including removing a wall and small shower stall, and removing the tub and replacing it with a large shower stall). Both bathrooms got new vanities and tile floors, and one included tiling the shower stall. The second job was to remove the tile from the kitchen counter backsplash and replace it (along with the wallboard that came out with the old tile, of course). In summary, Chuck showed up punctually to size up the jobs, provided us an estimate sooner than promised, and completed both jobs pretty much on schedule with no cost overruns.
He was helpful in suggesting suppliers (for tile, electrical and plumbing fixtures, vanities, etc) and allowed us to purchase things directly at his contractor discount price. He or his staff even picked up some of the materials for us at no extra cost. (For example, he picked up shower doors for us at no charge, and his price to install them was less than that offered by the supplier.) He also recommended electricians and plumbers that we could hire directly, and he coordinated the job with them.
His guys showed up each time as scheduled and both jobs were completed pretty much on schedule. There were a couple of unforeseen events that resulted in delays. The workers were clean and mannerly, and the work was done well. They also did a pretty decent job of cleaning up at the end of each day and at the end of each job.
Would we hire them again? Of course, we would. Kathy & Brent
If you are looking for someone to redo your bathroom, INEX is the company for you. We had already planned out most of our bathroom and fixtures and had a very specific idea of what we wanted the new room to look like. INEX helped us to realize that some of the updates we wanted to make could be done in other, more efficient ways. At the same time, they were also keen to offer design options which made the final result all the more aesthetically pleasing. Our bathroom is the only one we have and the guys at INEX worked around our schedule to make sure that we would be inconvenienced for as short a time as possible (even hooking up our toilet temporarily overnight). All in all, we had a very pleasant experience with INEX and our new bathroom is beautiful – a complete renovation in 5 days! We would definitely recommend them for any bathroom work, whether it be just an update or a complete redo.

Just wanted to let you know how happy we are with our new kitchen and Said’s work. Not only was his work done extremely well with excellent attention to detail, he also was really helpful and accommodating with all the little requests we had. I can be really nit-picky and this was definitely the best experience I've ever had working with a “contractor”, and I've had several good and bad!! I wasn't even around to talk much to Said, but felt that the project was always in such reliable hands—I didn't worry about a thing. He worked quickly so that we weren't kitchen-less on the weekend of the snow storm, but was also very methodical and organized!
Also, we are very impressed with you and your company, your whole attitude and how you do business—we have already talked you up to several of our friends, so you will probably get some calls. We are interested in doing our bathroom next, and we've spoken to Said about it.

We own a 1935 Tudor Cape Cod and a kitchen remodel was the single major upgrade we had been focused on. As first time remodelers, we approached the contractor selection process with trepidation. We had done a significant amount of due diligence on the kitchen design and had finally got to the point where we were ready to approach contractors. Luckily, a neighbor had worked with INEX and had a very positive experience. We ended up selecting them from a four contractor short-list based on their competitive job pricing, useful design input in our initial meeting, and their assurances that the job could be done to our standards on our schedule. We had two meetings prior to the start of the remodel to clarify expectations and ensure we were all on the same page.
During the course of the job the INEX team was on-time and efficient. Our 10x12 foot kitchen required full demo, dry walling, cabinet installation, plumbing work, major electrical work (done independently), and flooring installation. The INEX team was able to do their piece of the work in about 4 - 5 workdays and they worked conscientiously around the electrical and countertop installation schedules. The minor issues that were identified during the course of the remodel were fully resolved by INEX, and they even absorbed the full cost to resolve one of these issues.
The end result of the remodel is a brand new kitchen that is a light years improvement over the old one. The quality and craftsmanship displayed by INEX are evident in all facets of the kitchen, and their input and communication throughout the course of the planning and the job itself were greatly appreciated. We would highly recommend INEX to anyone considering a kitchen/bathroom remodel.

Choosing Inex Construction to remodel my kitchen was the best decision I made in the remodel process. Everyone knows about horror remodeling stories with unreliable contractors, shoddy craftsmanship, delayed schedules, etc - but not in my case. My project manager, Oswaldo, was fantastic - meticulous with details, flexible with last minute changes, incredibly fast and efficient creating a perfect end product. What was supposed to be a month-long remodel turned into three months due to problems created by other contractors, but Inex and Oswaldo patiently stuck with me and my kitchen to the sweet end. When, days before my due date with our third child and a few weeks before Christmas, the ceiling between our bathroom and kitchen collapsed, I could have cried. I had met with nearly a half-dozen other contractors, and you guys stood out. For example, INEX was the only company that showed up for the initial meeting with their information in hand. This made checking insurance, license and references easy. On the other hand, it often took as many as a half dozen phone calls, and in one case two meetings just to get that from others. The way I see it, if a person isn't organized for a simple meeting with an expressed purpose, I imagine their attention to more complex matters would be comparable at best. Well, by last night Oswaldo and his crew completed their work and our kitchen is absolutely beautiful! I stayed up last night until after midnight, just standing in there, looking at it all!! My neighbors just can't get over it. Everything is magnificent. Oswaldo was beyond fabulous. His philosophy of "No problems, only solutions" made the difference between simply completing the contract and really getting the job done. The attention to detail was just amazing - down to matching the 55-year-old baseboard molding style no longer made commercially. Things we hadn't even thought of were done. You should just see their beautiful job here in Severn. Everything is excellent. We came home last night from work about 6 PM and my next door neighbor said they had just left! They worked such a long day but with just amazing results. Kitchen floor is installed and gorgeous. Your suggestion of the slate laminate was so right on. Somehow the floor looks bigger and feels so good on barefeet. All the bathroom pieces are in except the medicine cabinet and tile is grouted. Even faucets are in. We just couldn't believe it. The white is so great too. In TWO days.... it is like magic almost.
We are leaving the last two checks on the refrigerator where Said can see them. Not sure when we might see him in person. We are so pleased we are leaving a little cash for the crew itself and it is clearly marked for them.
I don't know the names of the two crew members as they have been so courteous, competent and completely cleaned the work area so that you'd hardly know they've been here except for the stunning work they leave behind. They also arrived both days a half hour early which was fine with us!
Our neighbors are also just amazed. None of them have ever had such service from a contract firm. We thank you all so much. Hardly know how to express our gratitude.

Living in a one bath apartment it was a big decision picking a contractor to remodel my bathroom. I got several quotes from different contractors, none of which was competitive with INEX. Even though I was impressed with Charles McDonald and thought the estimates for cost and timing outstanding I wanted to check as many references as I could. All of the references I checked came back with exceptional reviews of the work and team - and I checked all those listed by INEX. INEX has done two projects for us and we are pleased with both. The first job was to upgrade two bathrooms, with significant work in one of them (including removing a wall and small shower stall, and removing the tub and replacing it with a large shower stall). Both bathrooms got new vanities and tile floors, and one included tiling the shower stall. The second job was to remove the tile from the kitchen counter backsplash and replace it (along with the wallboard that came out with the old tile, of course). In summary, Chuck showed up punctually to size up the jobs, provided us an estimate sooner than promised, and completed both jobs pretty much on schedule with no cost overruns.
He was helpful in suggesting suppliers (for tile, electrical and plumbing fixtures, vanities, etc) and allowed us to purchase things directly at his contractor discount price. He or his staff even picked up some of the materials for us at no extra cost. (For example, he picked up shower doors for us at no charge, and his price to install them was less than that offered by the supplier.) He also recommended electricians and plumbers that we could hire directly, and he coordinated the job with them.
His guys showed up each time as scheduled and both jobs were completed pretty much on schedule. There were a couple of unforeseen events that resulted in delays. The workers were clean and mannerly, and the work was done well. They also did a pretty decent job of cleaning up at the end of each day and at the end of each job.
Would we hire them again? Of course, we would. Kathy & Brent
If you are looking for someone to redo your bathroom, INEX is the company for you. We had already planned out most of our bathroom and fixtures and had a very specific idea of what we wanted the new room to look like. INEX helped us to realize that some of the updates we wanted to make could be done in other, more efficient ways. At the same time, they were also keen to offer design options which made the final result all the more aesthetically pleasing. Our bathroom is the only one we have and the guys at INEX worked around our schedule to make sure that we would be inconvenienced for as short a time as possible (even hooking up our toilet temporarily overnight). All in all, we had a very pleasant experience with INEX and our new bathroom is beautiful – a complete renovation in 5 days! We would definitely recommend them for any bathroom work, whether it be just an update or a complete redo.

Just wanted to let you know how happy we are with our new kitchen and Said’s work. Not only was his work done extremely well with excellent attention to detail, he also was really helpful and accommodating with all the little requests we had. I can be really nit-picky and this was definitely the best experience I've ever had working with a “contractor”, and I've had several good and bad!! I wasn't even around to talk much to Said, but felt that the project was always in such reliable hands—I didn't worry about a thing. He worked quickly so that we weren't kitchen-less on the weekend of the snow storm, but was also very methodical and organized!
Also, we are very impressed with you and your company, your whole attitude and how you do business—we have already talked you up to several of our friends, so you will probably get some calls. We are interested in doing our bathroom next, and we've spoken to Said about it.

The cabinet doors arrived on Wed; they were the correct doors!!! Said installed them this morning. He has done an outstanding job!!! We are very happy. Please put me on his preferred customer list!!.
I have a second kitchen to install and want some cabinets in my closet. I new a few weeks to figure out exactly what I want and will need another quote.

After using INEX for a bathroom expansion project in January 2006 (which turned out great!), I thought of INEX’s handyman service when it came time to repair our screened-in porch. The porch needed to be completely re-screened and much of the wood needed to be replaced as well. Chris Nickerson and his team did an outstanding job and we are very pleased with the results. Chris and his workers were very conscientious and unobtrusive. I very much appreciate that they took the time to make sure that the new stain matched the old stain and that they put improved latches on the door on their own initiative. The project took less than a week and all debris was hauled away. I will definitely use INEX’s services again if the need arises.

After more than a week of living with our new bathroom we are still amazed at the beautiful results and how easy it was to work with Inex. It's hard to believe that within 5 days we went from having a bathroom affectionately known as "the ugly bathroom" to a room so lovely that we smile every time we walk in. Julio and Oswaldo were fantastic to work with. They didn't take any shortcuts in their work and that shows in the final result. Julio was here every morning at the strike of 8am and was often here almost 12 hours to get the entire job done in one week. As circumstances required us to be home all week we were able to see first-hand all of the work in progress and we saw top quality at every step. Oswaldo even found places to touch up in the plaster that we wouldn't have noticed! It was an absolute pleasure to work with you and the whole team and Inex will get the first call when we are ready to remodel our second bathroom. We have already recommended Inex to family and friends and will be happy to serve as a reference for any potential customers.

I was extremely pleased with the work that Dermott McDermott did - he's absolutely great. It was key that my kitchen be modified so the refrigerator repairman could access the back of my fridge to fix it. Time was of the essence since I had no working fridge! Dermott came out immediately, analyzed what needed to be done, and did custom woodwork to modify what had been a previous design flaw in my kitchen. He was an absolute pleasure to work with.
